We’re excited to kick-start the next round of Edublogs Teacher Challenges!
Whether you are new to blogging, or want a refresher on all of the features that blogging can offer, come join us for our four week crash-course as we guide you through the process of blogging with students.
We’ll cover:
- Setting up class and student blogs
- Teaching quality comments and posts
- Working with widgets
- Images, copyright, and creative commons
- Connecting with other classes
- Tons more!
How Does It Work?
The Edublogs Teacher Challenge is completely free of charge.
Each Teacher Challenge session lasts for 30 days, with 2-3 tasks per week that will be sent to you via email. We’ll send the first challenge to you when you signup.
When you finish the Teacher Challenge, we’ll give you a badge to proudly display on your blog and a certificate of completion which you can use towards your professional development hours.
You can use any blogging platform you prefer, but our detailed instructions will be written with Edublogs and CampusPress users in mind, so you’ll need to slightly adapt them depending on your platform.

Enrollment will be kept open, so you can start whenever is convenient for you. The series is excellent way of preparing for the Student Blogging Challenge which starts in a few weeks!
Let us know if you have any questions in the comments below.
I know this challenge was offered last year. Is it still available? I’d love to participate.
I am interested in participation. Is there a certificate of completion or anything at the end that lists the number of hours completed?
You would have to check with your district to see if they’d give you hours for this.
Hi Daltha – following that up too, we can provide a certificate if it would be useful. We aren’t quite sure how many hours it should say – we imagine somewhere around 10 is reasonable?
I’m a T.A ( teaching assistant) I really want to join the course, is the course open to me too?
For sure – everyone is welcome 🙂
Hello,
Is there a fixed start and end date or is it flexible?
Thanks,
Raneve
Hi Raneve, you are welcome to start whenever you like. Just fill out the form and we we send you your first challenge!
Hi, I absolutely love this. The only problem is that I am a literacy EA.
I am wondering if I can still do it with my students?
Absolutely – open to all!
