When setting up a new blog it’s always handy check out other people’s blogs for ideas.
So I’ve been thinking it would be really helpful to everyone, especially new educators, if we had a page on The Edublogger for links to class blogs called Check out Class Blogs. The list could also be helpful for people wanting to create connections with classrooms in other countries.
So I was wondering if you could help me? Do you have a class blog or are able to recommend some class blogs?
Can you please share with us:
- Blog name(s) and URL(s).
- Approximate age of students and are they primary, secondary or tertiary?
- If applicable, what subject area? e.g. maths, science, language, history, English, Art, Music, ELL, ESL, & EFL
- Country
Thanks to Sue Tapp for reminding me that this task was on my to-do list!

^I understand your comments (and I don’t mean to change the topic on this page), but up front, on the “About Us” page, they clearly state, “Edublogs are completely free, without any advertising, and come with 100MB of free upload space (easily extended to 3 Gig) and a heap of great features.” Without any advertising seems pretty easy to understand to me.

Our class website, mentioned before, is at http://hoggatt.edublogs.org/ . I have an extensive site with all kinds of information four students, parents, former students, teachers, and much, much more. The site is constantly updated and upgraded, and we are very proud of it.
(One question: why, when Edublogs claims to be advertising-free, are advertising balloons popping up when people roll over random words on our sites? I noticed this when looking at some of the sites posted in these comments.)
Our class blog for 2008 can be found at http://56c2008.edublogs.org
