Well Applesandlemonade, that is a really good question and I would love to hear all the students thoughts. I think everyone who participated enjoyed it.

Here is what I've been thinking like to run:
1) Another competition again (probably in a few months) but where we first get students suggest the different series of categories that they could post on as I think the topic choices may be really interesting that way

2) While at the same time running a competition where students designed the winners and participant badges for these types of competitions

Hopefully you will all give me your feedback because I would like to hear if you 1) do like these challenges/competitions 2) how frequently you want them offered 3) any thoughts on how I could improve the process.

Hello Sue,

With the help of several of my students, we have created a digital story about the impact blogging has made on classroom experiences. You can view the digital story here: http://ghoke.edublogs.org/2009/04/30/student-bloggers-connecting-through-conversation/.

Thank you for providing this opportunity for students to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other.
