Prior to this I was having a writers brain block, I just couldn't get myself to write anything meaningful or from the heart. The weekly tasks for this competition got me to write things that I would never have thought of writing before. Not only are the topics interesting, but some of the responses you get to read from students the same age as you really made my thoughts twist around. The new perspectives from others, brought new ideas and from those new ideas brought more and more like a chain reaction. My favorite part of this whole competition was the post we wrote about poverty. Before that post I knew so little about the word "poverty". Thanks to that post my teacher has given me the idea to raise money for families suffering in poverty. I also like how you can comment each others blogs already knowing some knowledge of what they're talking about since you wrote about it as well. Like any other child, a smile is put on my face when it says "one new comment!". Thank you. sarah hello
